c2c: Canada’s Journal of Ideas is a new online journal which launched in May 2007. It publishes articles by established and emerging authors quarterly; readers discuss and debate articles in this online forum.

Editorial Board

Benjamin Perrin co-founded c2c and serves on its Board of Directors. He Is Assistant Professor at the University of British Columbia, Faculty of Law. He was senior policy advisor to the Hon. Monte Solberg, Minister of Citizenship & Immigration and articled at the Supreme Court of Canada. Ben also founded The Future Group and has been recognized by the Governor General of Canada and the U.S. State Department.

Patrick M. Callaghan co-founded c2c and serves on its Board of Directors. He is a Chartered Accountant in San Diego, California. He is a graduate of the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario.

Heather Devlin MacDermid is a member of the Board of Directors of c2c. She is a health policy analyst, and graduate of the University of Western Ontario with an Honours Bachelor of Arts and a Master's degree in political science. She was a policy advisor to the Hon. Tony Clement, Minister of Health (Ontario).

Mark Milke is Chairman of the Editorial Board of C2C. He is the Research Director for the Frontier Centre for Public Policy, a lecturer in Political Science at the University of Calgary, author of three books on Canadian politics, and is a Sunday columnist for the Calgary Herald. Mark is a hiking, nature, photography and architecture aficionado and resides in Calgary.

Adam Daifallah is a Montreal-based lawyer, author and journalist. He has worked as a member of the National Post editorial board and as a Washington correspondent for The New York Sun. He is the co-author of two books on Canadian politics.

Michael Lindsay is a doctoral candidate at Oxford University's Department of Political Science and International Relations. He has authored numerous articles for publicatons ranging from the Oxonian Review to the National Post. Michael also operates his own strategic consultancy firm for clients in the education and not-for-profit sectors.

Chris Schafer, B.A. (Laurier), M.A. (Western), LL.B. (Osgoode Hall), is an Associate in the Advocacy Department and Government Relations Practice Group at the Ottawa Office of Gowling Lafleur Henderson LLP. He previously worked at the Fraser Institute, the Cato Institute, and the Office of the Leader of the Official Opposition. A published author, Chris has written several studies and articles on public policy and legal issues. Chris also sits on the Board of Directors for the Canadian Constitution Foundation.

Joseph Quesnel is a former editor with the Drum/First Perspective, a nationally distributed Aboriginal newspaper. The Drum is a First Nation publication dedicated to Aboriginal governance reform and classical liberal ideas. He is also a regular columnist with the Winnipeg Sun and a policy analyst with the Frontier Centre for Public Policy, writing mainly about Aboriginal policy.

Sylvia LeRoy is a strategic communications advisor for the National Research Council. She previously worked as a policy and communications consultant for a wide range of government, corporate and non-profit clients, and as a policy analyst and research centre director at The Fraser Institute. Sylvia also currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Civitas Society.
